Watertown Senior A Hockey league started in 1972. Founded by a group of players, it consited of 8 teams. The teams played a "season" which terminated with playdowns and playoffs.

Today we still have 8 teams who play 21 games and then go through the playdowns, semi and finals to determine the league champion,
